Discovery & Goals
Aligned with stakeholders on booth flow, messaging, and technical constraints (offline, reliable resets, minimal operator steps).
Problem Statement: L & S Electric wanted an immersive way to showcase their engineering facility at HydroVision and other industry events, enabling attendees to experience the space and capabilities without a physical visit.
Solution: I built an Oculus Rift VR tour in Unity that guided users through the engineering building with narration. The experience was optimized for trade‑show reliability: baked lighting, asset optimization, and a simple operator flow for rapid resets and high throughput at the booth.
Skills Used:
Aligned with stakeholders on booth flow, messaging, and technical constraints (offline, reliable resets, minimal operator steps).
Prepared environment assets, built scenes in Unity, and created hotspots and guided paths to focus attention on key capabilities. Recorded narration and 360 video and integrated it into the experience.
Baked lighting and occlusion, and tested for stable 90 FPS and iterated on interaction design.
Packaged and deployed the build for HydroVision; validated on-site setup and supported booth operations.
